Students Enjoy a Live BrookBreak with Author Jeff Kinney

IInd Form students enjoyed a live BookBreak with author/illustrator Jeff Kinney on January 17th.

Did you know that Kinney's best writing ideas for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series happened while in a cemetery not far from where he lives? He says nobody bothers him there! Students also learned that Kinney really wanted to be a cartoonist. When he could not get any newspapers to syndicate his cartoons, he started creating the story of Greg Heffley. His failure as a cartoonist led him to an extremely successful life as a writer/illustrator.
